Xiao Zhou

Dr. Xiao Zhou received her M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Cambridge supervised by Professor Cecilia Mascolo a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering (FREng). She subsequently conducted postdoctoral research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) before joining the Gaoling School of Artificial Intelligence Renmin University of China in 2021. She is a Microsoft StarTrack Scholar and a Distinguished Young Scholar of Renmin University. Her research focuses on spatio-temporal data mining urban computing social computing recommender systems and large language models. Her work has been published in leading venues such as Artificial Intelligence Journal TKDE TOIS KDD NeurIPS SIGIR IJCAI and AAAI. She has led projects funded by the NSFC and major technology companies and her research has been featured in People’s Daily China Daily and South Reviews.
