Beijing, May 18– The Forum on Autonomous Artificial Intelligence Innovation convened today, marking the inauguration of the "Jingxi Intelligence Valley – RUC Research Center for AI and Intelligent Governance," a joint initiative by Renmin University and Beijing's Mentougou District.

Distinguished ParticipationThe event was attended by:Lin Shangli, President of Renmin University,Lü Chenfei, Deputy Secretary and District Mayor of Mentougou,Representatives from Zhongguancun Mentougou Park, Beijing Academy of AI, Huawei, and over 150 faculty, students, and alumni.

President Linemphasized AI's strategic role in China's technological revolution, advocating for"interdisciplinary talent cultivation and industry-academia-research integration"to pioneer AI innovation.

Mayor Lühighlighted the district-university partnership as"a model for combining RUC's academic strengths with Mentougou's industrial resources to build an AI innovation hub."
