Recently, Prof.Zhewei Wei and Dr. Chongxuan Li from Gaoling School of Articial Intelligence, Renmin Universityof Chinawere invited to serve as Associate Editors (AEs) for the IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence (IEEE TPAMI) journal. This is the first time that faculty members from Renmin University of China have been appointed to the editorial board of IEEE TPAMI.

IEEE TPAMI is a prestigious international journal published by the IEEE Computer Society, boasting an impact factor of 24.314. It is classified as an A-level journal in the China Computer Federation (CCF) journal conference recommendation list and is a first-quartile journal according to the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Prof. Zhewei Wei has long been dedicated to research in graph analysis, graph learning, and streaming algorithms. He has published over 80 papers in top-tier conferences and journals such as SIGMOD, KDD, ICML, and STOC. He was awarded the PODS 2022 Test of Time Award and the 2023 World Artificial Intelligence Conference Youth Outstanding Paper Nomination Award. He is the PI of the NSFC Major Program and National Science and Technology Major Project. He has served as the Proceedings Chair of PODS and ICDT, and as an Area Chair of ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR, and TheWebConf. He is also a Young Scientist at the Pazhou Laboratory (Huangpu). Under his supervision, his PhD students were awarded the 2021 Baidu Scholarship (10 graduate students worldwide) and the 2022 MSRA Fellowship (12 PhD students in the Asia-Pacific region) while pursuing their doctorates.

Dr. Chongxuan Li is a tenure-tack associate professor in the Gaoling School of Artificial Intelligence at Renmin University of China. He focuses broadly on deep probabilistic learning and has published over 40 papers in leading ML conferences and journals, including ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR, and TPAMI. His work 'Analytic-DPM' received the ICLR Outstanding Paper Award, and 'DPM-Solver' was selected as one of the most influential papers in Paper Digest NeurIPS 2022. The two works were deployed as core techniques in DALL·E 2 and Stable Diffusion, respectively. Dr. Li has been awarded the Wu Wenjun Award for Outstanding Youth in Artificial Intelligence, Wu Wenjun Natural Science Award for Artificial Intelligence (First Prize), the CCF Distinguished PhD Dissertation Award, and the ACM SIGAI China Rising Star Award. He has also been selected for the Boya Postdoctoral Fellowship Program and the Beijing Science and Technology Rising Star Program. Dr. Li has served as the PI or has participated in many research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation and the Ministry of Science and Technology. He also served as an area chair for leading ML conferences such as ICLR, NeurIPS, and ACM MM.
